Hardback. A three volume set, handsomely bound in olive green cloth which despite a little faded and surface wear are in good condition. Minor bumping to the corners and the gilt lettering to the spines are lightly faded. Internally the binding is tight and while there is the occasional spot of foxing the pages are generally clean throughout. Beautifully illustrated with several photographic plates and line drawings within the text. Vol. I - 440 pp., Vol. II - 188 pp., Vol. III - 655 pp.
