Dark green cloth boards with blind stamp tooled decoration to the boards and gilt titling to the spine. Boards are rubbed and bumped, but no other damage or loss. There is a Baptist Missionary Society Library sticker to front paste down and a very neat presentation inscription dated August 1840 to the ffep. The ffep and frontispiece are detached. Contents are generally clean and bright with foxing to prelims only. Overall this is a good copy.
