''The idea of producing this book originated during the homeward voyage of the first British Automobile Rally to U.S and Canada. One of the party expressed a wish that the story might some day be written. The production of this book relied on help from the diary extracts of individual members of the rally. 54pp plus a supplement of Rally photographs plus space for your own photographs. 13 tipped in black and white illustrations. Foreword by His excellency the American Ambassador. Includes a list of members and cars. Bound in dark red leather, titled in gilt to the upper board. Wear to extremities with some rubbing to corners. Spine is very rubbed/worn with some chipping/loss and is coming away from the contents. Internally some browning/light foxing to pages.
