Spine scuffed and rubbed with loss of gilt/fading to the decoration and label. Front board of Vol. II is cracked. All edges speckled. Bookplate to the front pastedown of both volumes, has left a brown mark on the opposite page. Prelims of both volumes lightly foxed, contents browned but for the most part good. pp 373 + 436.
