Presentation Copy. Bound in full burgundy leather with gilt decoration to the borders and spine, small gilt coat of arms to the front. Boards and spine are a little rubbed and worn especially to the extremities. Gilt titles to the spine faded. All edge marble. Marble end-papers with presentation label to the ffep, rear end-paper party missing. Slight cracking to the internal hinge although binding is still fairly tight. Pencil mark to one of the prelims and the occasional thumb mark otherwise a good clean copy. pp. viii + 591.
