Re-bound in beige cloth with the original paper covers inside, gilt titles to the spine. Neat inscription dated 1948 to one of the prelims. This book contains six plates with black and white line drawings and text showing various humorous scenes of special constable Mr G. The plates are lightly thumb marked and foxed to the margins otherwise in good condition. To the rear of the book there are several pages which at one time may have been used as an album with paper residue, diagonal cuts and black marker pen to many of the pages. A few of the pages have been cut out. An unusual copy.
