A good edition of this classic children's tale. Bound in the publisher's original blue cloth with pretty pictorial to the front and spine. The boards are generally in good condition although a little worn to the extremities with sunning to the spine. Top edge gilt. Pictorial end-papers slightly age-toned. There is the occasional foxing throughout although the contents are generally clean. Beautifully illustrated with full page colour plates and several black and white line drawings by C.E. Brock. pp. 310. Overall a good copy.
