A beautifully bound four volume set uniformly bound in half leather with marble paper covered boards. The binding is generally in good condition with just a little sunning and surface wear to the spines. The rear board on volume one is detached while the top of the spine on volume four is a little chipped. Bright gilt coat of arms to the front of each volume and bright gilt titles to the spines. Top edge gilt. Marble end-papers. Ex-libris label to the front paste down. The contents are generally very clean with just the occasional foxing throughout. Overall a good + set.
