Volume One: Previous owner's neat inscription facing half-title page. Foxing to preliminary pages. Frontispiece protected by original tissue guard, also quite foxed. Otherwise contents are mostly clean, until the last few pages where some more foxing occurs. xii + 448pp. Volume Two: Previous owner's neat inscription to rear of front free endpaper. Similarly quite foxed preliminaries, particularly to original tissue guard protecting the frontispiece. Otherwise contents are quite clean, again until the final few pages which have a few patches of foxing. iv + 448pp. Overall very good condition; a beautiful set. Please be advised that this set might incur additional postage costs because of the combined weight of both volumes.
