Handsome red leather prize binding with ruled gilt borders in good condition despite slight fading and a little wear to the extremities. Ornate gilt decorative spine with slight dulling of the gilt although still in good condition. Marbling to the edges of the text block and end papers. Prize bookplate to the front paste down dated 1885. Pages are clean and bright with the occasional foxing throughout. pp.406. Overall a lovely copy in good condition.
