Hard back Cloth Bound, dated 1863 presumed First Edition. Original green cloth boards with decorative embossed border to the front and rear, gilt titles and vignette to the spine. In overall good condition despite minor discolouration to the front and bumping to the corners. Some splitting of the cloth to the top of the spine down each external hinge which someone has tried to repair with a little glue. Gilt slightly dulled. Cracking to the internal hinge although the binding remains fairly tight. Two British stamps with the date 1936 above to the half title page. Pages slightly toned but clean throughout. pp. xxii + 249. Overall a good copy of this scarce title. From the library of Major Beeton.
