Third Impression. Beautifully bound in green cloth with pictorial and gilt titles to the front and spine. There is a little surface wear to the boards and a light dent along the fore edge of the front board. Spine has faded. Previous owners' presentation label to the front paste down dated 1910. Light red crayon marks to the front free endpaper and to the rear endpapers. Large closed tear to page 306. Pages clean throughout despite the very occasional spot of foxing. Illustrated with full page monochrome frontispiece and a further fourteen illustrations throughout. pp. 319 + 16. Overall a good copy.
