First Edition. Original green cloth binding with decorative embossed detail to the boards. Small gilt pictorial to the centre of the front board with gilt titles to the spine. Boards are lightly rubbed and worn with a little bumping to the corners and fading to the gilt pictorial. The cloth has split along the front and outer hinge with fraying to the top and base. Yellow endpapers with previous owners' inscription to the front paste down. Beautifully illustrated title page and frontispiece. There is the occasional spot of foxing throughout otherwise a good clean copy. pp. 395. A lovely little book on The Peak District with fabulous frontispiece and title page. A scarce title.
