First Edition Hard Back. Beautifully bound in brown cloth with black printed design and titles to the front and spine with pictorial paper inlay to the front. The binding is in very good condition with the cloth still bright and clean, the pictorial shows no loss or wear. Minor shelf wear to the top and base of the spine. Previous owners' inscription to the front free endpaper dated 1927. There is a little toning to the endpapers with foxing / toning to pages 4 through to 9 otherwise the pages are very clean. With four illustrations by Archibald Webb. pp. 216. Overall a very good copy. Would make an ideal gift.
