First Edition hard back. Edited with prologue and epilogue by Rupert Hart-Davis. Dust jacket is in a good clean condition and shows very little wear. There is however slight fading to the spine with a little off-setting to the front and rear. Black cloth boards with bright gilt titles to the spine in excellent condition. There is a minor mark to the base of the title page and to the next two pages otherwise the pages are very clean throughout. Illustrated with the occasional photographic plate. pp. 368. A very good copy.
