Hard Back. Handsome presentation copy bound in rich navy leather with gilt decorative borders and gilt coat of arms to the front. The spine as five raised bands, red title band and ornate gilt tooling. The leather shows a little surface wear with a little loss to the corners while the spine is lightly sunned. Overall in good condition. All edges of the text block and endpapers marbled. Presentation label dated 1904 to the front paste down. Binding tight. Pages appear unread with no marks or foxing, illustrated with frontispiece portrait of Charles Lamb. pp. xxiv + 512. Overall a very good copy. Would make an ideal gift.
