Hard Back. First Edition. Half bound in black leather with green cloth boards and gilt titles to the spines in good condition despite a little scuffing to the leather. All edges of the text block and endpapers marbled with library label to the front paste down and label to the rear. The front board on volume two is a little loose. The pages are toned throughout with foxing to the prelims and towards the rear. Pencil notation to the verso of the front free endpaper and to the list of plates section, small library ink stamps throughout. The text is legible however and beautifully illustrated by the author. Overall a good set.
