Hard Back. Beautiful presentation copy bound in rich navy leather with decorative gilt ruled boards and gilt coat of arms to the front. Red title band, ornate gilt decoration and five raised bands to the spine. In good condition with no wear to the leather and the gilt still bright. The spine is lightly faded however in good condition with no shelf wear to the top and base. All edges of the text block and endpapers marbled. There is some foxing throughout however the text is still legible and illustrated throughout with photographic plates and maps. pp. 376. Overall a good copy. Would make an ideal gift.
