This is number 764 of Everyman's Library. Handsomely bound in rich burgundy leather with a gilt emblem to the front and gilt titles and decoration to the spine. In lovely condition with the leather still bright and in good condition. There is however a little fading to the spine. The top edge of the text block is bright gilt while the fore edge remains free of any marks. Beautifully illustrated endpapers that show no inscriptions. A few of the pages are curled to the corners and there is some creasing to pages xii and xiii. The pages appear unread with no marks or foxing. Frontispiece and title page have been beautifully encased in an ornate decorated border. pp. xv + 384. Overall a lovely copy that would make an ideal gift.
