Hardback. Handsomely bound in dark brown leather with gilt-ruled borders to the front and rear boards, gilt titles, and decoration to the spine. In overall good condition despite some rubbing and wear especially to the spine. All edges of the text block are gilt and still fairly bright. Internally the binding is still tight despite some cracking to the internal hinges and a loose page, xix. Decorative endpapers. There is the occasional foxing throughout especially to the prelims and towards the rear otherwise a good clean copy. pp. xx + 717. Overall a lovely copy of a scarce title.
