Beautifully bound in rich burgundy cloth with bright gilt titles and decoration to the spine. In very good condition with no wear or fading. The top edge of the text block is coloured red and still bright while the fore-edge remains free of any marks. Internally the binding is tight. Pictorial endpapers which are free of any previous owners' inscriptions or bookplates. The rest of the pages appear unread with monochrome full page frontispiece. 315. Overall a very good copy of this classic tale of the four March sisters.
