First edition of Gallico's masterpiece with the original blue jacket protected by a transparent wrapper. Pages are clean, Antique Laid paper with double-spaced text for an optimum reading experience. Occasional foxing, and a small rip to the bottom of page 7. Neat ink inscription to the front free endpaper. The lovely snow goose design on the jacket is repeated on the title page and at the first chapter. Jacket has quite a few small and unobtrusive rips to the extremities as well as a few minor marks to the front. The binding is quite tight with all pages intact. Overall fair to good. pp.64. A delicate, beautiful book.
