The spine is also in a very good condition, showing only some slight wear to the top and bottom edges. The front free end papers include a small pencil inscription from a previous owner. Internally, the pages are clean throughout. pp. xxx + 262. Overall, a very good copy of the reports of important archaeological excavations in Exeter, including numerous detailed photographic plates that only enhance the highly detailed text.
