Hard back. Front and rear blue cloth boards in very good condition, showing very little sign of wear, with the gilt text to the front remaining bright. The spine is a little worn on the rear edge, but retains its colour and gold gilt text very well. Housed in a matching striking blue slip case, which is a little worn on the bottom edge, and the gilt border to the colourful pictorial design is scratched in places. Internally, the pages are very clean, with all text readable and images clear and bright. pp. 148 + photographs. Overall, a very good copy of this unique text of the memoirs of Joan Mary Findlay, the anecdotes of which illuminate a world different to today's.
