Amazing 17th century history of Ottoman empire in original full calf leather, detached front board with spine missing. 28 plates including frontispiece, stunning illustrations clearly visible with 4 missing. All the text is intact and pages eminently readable, very clear text with small stains to the edges. Pages 7 has a corner missing, internal hinges with motion, quite delicate. Ancient ink markings to the pasted down endpapers. The illustrations are particularly pleasing. pp.410. Fair condition. This book needs restoration, please enquire for a quote.
