Slight fading to the spine and extremities. Not price clipped. Underneath lie red cloth boards although lightly bumped to the corners are in very good condition. Previous owner's small bookplate to the front paste down otherwise the pages are very clean throughout. pp. xliv + 167. "The Pargiters" is not a straightforward novel. It mixes fictional scenes with the Pargiters with Woolf's own essays. It explores themes of sexual segregation and the role of the women.
