Hardback. Beautifully bound in rich brown leather with embossed design and gilt titles to the boards. Four raised bands and gilt titles to the spine. The binding is in very good condition with just a little fading to the spine and minor wear to the corners. All edges are gilt and still fairly bright. Marbled endpapers with a small neat inscription to one of the prelims. The pages are clean throughout with a beautifully illustrated frontispiece and title page. pp. xi + 383. Overall a handsome copy.
