Beautifully bound by Ramage of London in deep green leather with gilt ruled borders to the sides, gilt titles and five raised bands to the spine. Introduction by John Dennis and illustrations by Robert Anning Bell. Top edge gilt. A very good copy with only slight wear to the leather. Previous owner's inscription dated 1946 written on a small card and pasted onto the top of the front free endpaper. The rest of the pages are in a lovely clean condition, featuring the beautiful Art Nouveau illustrations of Robert Anning Bell. pp. xv + 222. A collection of writings from notable English writers such as Donne, Milton, Shakespeare, Webster, Herrick, Marlowe and Jonson.
