A stunning copy of Jane Austen's classic work. Beautifully bound in deep red cloth with intricate gilt design to the front and spine. All edges are gilt. Decorative yellow peacock endpapers and illustrations by Charles E. Brock. With an introduction of Austin Dobson. There is a little bumping to the corners of the binding with light fading and a slight lean to the spine. A touch of foxing to the pages especially to the prelims and towards the rear. Overall a very good copy with the binding, especially the front board clean and bright. No marks or bookplates to the endpapers and the pages are overall clean. pp. xxx + 352.
