A beautiful edition of Jane Austen's first novel Sense And Sensibility. With illustrations by Hugh Thomson and an introduction by Austin Dobson. Bound in the publisher's original red cloth with printed floral detail to the front and spine. There is a little bumping to the corners and the spine has lightly faded with minor wear along the front hinge. The pages although foxed to the endpapers, prelims and towards the rear are very clean throughout. Overall though, a clean and bright copy with the binding particularly sharp. pp. xvi + 342 + 2. A beautiful copy which would make the perfect gift for any Jane Austen fan.
