This hardback edition of the National Art Gallery's 1901 Catalogue for Heraldry is bound in a lovely green cloth, with gilt lettering to the spine. Inside, the book is smartly presented, and contains "a classified list of English and foreign books on Heraldry, in the National Art Library", printed for His Majesty's Stationery Office. This book contains viii pages of frontmatter, and 86 pages of text, followed by 16 plates of illustrations, referencing various examples of Heraldry within the National Art Library's collection. Other than some minor foxing, a small closed tear to the title page, and some fading to the spine, this book is in great condition, despite its age. This book is looking for a new home, and would be the perfect gift for any collectors of the National Art Library catalogues.
